Covel Commons Driving Directions and Parking

DRIVING DIRECTIONS (from the 405 FWY)

1. EXIT on Sunset Blvd. and head EAST.

2. RIGHT on Bellagio Dr.

3. LEFT onto De Neve Dr. After 3/10 of a mile, look for the PSV or SV (Sunset Village) parking structure on the right (before 2nd stop sign). Parking structure address is 330 De Neve Dr.

4. PARK and pay for permit at kiosk. Up to $12 for all-day parking. Place permit on your dashboard. (NOTE: Do not park in Blue Permit areas.)

5. TAKE the elevators/stairs to the Lobby Level (L1).

6. WALK towards the right to the building’s main entrance. The Grand Horizon Ballroom is on the 3rd floor.

Lot 7 on campus is located underneath the intramural field, directly adjacent to Pauley Pavilion and Drake Stadium. 

As we all know well, the walk to Sigma Pi manor from this area is roughly 10 - 15 minutes.

This lot is located don' the hill from the Grand Terrace Ballroom.

Walking Directions from 612 Landfair to the Grand Horizon Ballroom at Covel Commons 

A short half-mile/15-minute walk from 612 Landfair, the Grand Horizon Ballroom overlooks Drake Stadium (named for Elvin C. "Ducky" Drake - Upsilon '27)) with a view of Royce Hall, Powell Library, and Janss Steps.

Transportation to the Grand Horizon Ballroom and After the Event

For those individuals who prefer not to walk the half-mile to the dinner, complimentary bus transportation will be available.

A 56-seat motorcoach will be available between 5:30 and 6:00 PM to take guests from 612 Landfair to a drop-off area steps away from the Grand Horizon Ballroom.

From 10:45 to 11:3015PM, the motorcoach will pick up guests from the same drop-off area and drive between Lot 7.
