Brother John Cellar journeyed from Northern California for the Bruins’ games against ASU and Arizona. He is a retired computer scientist who learned the trade on UCLA’s old UNIVAC computer in the 1950s, and watched UCLA games under Coach Wilbur Johns in the men’s gym. Brother Beezhold, a physicist who retired as a multi-department Chair and Director of the Idaho Accelerator Center in 2017, passed to the Adytum on High in Gig Harbor, Wash., in 2018. He earned a Doctorate in Physics from the Univ. of Washington in 1969 and went on to a 30-year career in research at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, retiring as a Senior Scientist in 2000. Over the years, he also taught at Seattle Univ., Montana St. and Idaho St.
