Douglas Walter Bastyr 2/5/1928-1/29/2016

Brother Bastyr, an Army veteran in Europe during the Cold War, past Province Archon, and Past Housing Board Member, passed to the Adytum on High on Jan. 29 at age 87 in Lawrence, Kan. Bastyr attended North Hollywood H.S. and matriculated to UCLA, where he pledged the fraternity and earned his B.A. He also met his wife Beverly, who died in 1997.
