Adytum on High: Charles Ward
Brother Ward, an OMC member, passed to the Adytum on High in January at the grand age of 86. He lived in Sunnyvale and was married to his wife Patty of 57 years.
Coach Franko leads Bruins to Pac-12 Title
Brother Rich Frank, who honed his skills on the Upsilon backyard court, traveled to Las Vegas with John Jenkins to watch the Mighty Bruins thump Arizona Mildcats for the conference title. He’s predicting a Final Four appearance in the first year under the young Steve Alford. Frank was the long-time president of the Milk & Cookies Club under legendary 1960s Chef Miss Pearl Winter.

Oldest Upsilon alumnus passes to Adytum on High
Dr. Wallace Reed died on Mar. 7, 2014, at age 97 in Phoenix. Dr. Reed started the first free-standing ambulatory surgical centers in Arizona, and retired in 1989 after a 45-year career in anesthesiology. He was a member of the House Ways and Means Advisory Committee from 1975-76, and he erved on the Advisory Council of the National Health Institute. He is preceded in death by his brother John, also an Upsilon brother in the 1930s.

Brother Helmick in the saddle
Mark Helmick rode in a big horse show in Scottsdale, Ariz., and is sad he missed Founders Day with his late 1970s brothers. In the 2013 show season, his team won several National Championships.

Alumnus Brad Reichard met up with Sage Malcolm Galligan and 2nd Councilor Jason Carpenter in Feb. 2012 at the Mid-Year Conference. Brad, who live in Washington DC, is helping National with marketing and branding.
