    Brother Quadros spoke to the chapter on Jan. 30 about his journeys from afar to UCLA, the Upsilon alumni network, and starting a Star Wars club on campus.

    Adytum on High: Dean Cameron

    U.S. Army Brother Cameron passed to the Adytum on High in Dec. 2022 at age 94 in Fresno.
    He was a proud member of the Old Men’s Club, and was stationed in West Germany during the 1950s.

    Adytum on High: Commander Robert Eggert

    U.S. Navy Brother Eggert passed to the Adytum on High in Jan. 2022.
    He served in the U.S. Navy, and worked for Rockwell, Disneyland and Southern California Gas.
    He lectured at Golden West College and volunteered in many community groups.

    Adytum on High: Dr. Mack Ott

    Brother Dr. Ott was a Ph.D. in international economics and author of two books. He traveled the world and advised emerging economies in the former Soviet Union, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

    Adytum on High: William Boaz (Y 1950)

    Brother Boaz passed to the Adytum on High in 2017 in Nevada.
    While at UCLA he met the love of his life Mary Ann Dudley. Bill and Mary Ann were married at St Augustine by the Sea Episcopal church in Santa Monica in 1949.
    In 1951 Bill was honorably discharged from the Air National Guard in Southern California after serving 3 years. Bill and Mary Ann lived in Lakewood, where they had four children . They also lived in Anaheim and Yorba Linda.
    Bill worked as a plumber for Nat Taylor and Sons plumbing in Southern California for over 30 years.
    They were very involved with all their children’s sports and school activities. The family also went on camping and fishing adventures every summer. He got into showing dogs and sled dog racing and his son Mike got more involved in sled dog racing so they moved to Truckee in 1980. They lived in Truckee for 20 years, he was a long-time member of the Truckee Lions Club and a Mason.
    In 2000 they moved to Reno, NV.

    Toughest Judge in Wisconsin — Hon. John Rhode (Y 1992)

    The Honorable John Rhode will remain the Langlade County Circuit Court judge for another six-year term, as he was re-elected Tuesday.
    Rhode was raised in Appleton and graduated from Appleton West High School in 1988. He attended college at UCLA, graduating with a bachelor of arts degree in economics in 1992.
    Rhode went on to attend law school at Marquette University, graduating in 1995. He then moved to Antigo and worked for the Sommer, Olk & Payant Law Firm for 20 years (1995-2015).
    Rhode first ran for judge and was elected in 2015. He sought re-election unopposed on Tuesday and is now in the judge’s seat for the next six years.

    Adytum on High: Robert Fulkerson (Y 1942)

    Brother Fulkerson passed to the Adytum on High in 2010. He attended Manual Arts High School, and in WWII served three years in the Army with a commission from Infantry in Ft Benning, Georgia. He was wounded at Okinawa, and awarded a Purple Heart.
    He graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in mechanical engineering and for 27 years, he worked in light steel fabricating.

    Alumni Guest Speaker: Gabor Fabian (Y 1995)

    Brother Fabian visited the chapter on Nov. 22 and regaled the brothers about his journey from on-campus work to a high-level I.T. Manager for a major healthcare provider.
    He is raising a hockey-playing legend of a son, who is on his way to becoming Moonshiner Chair in 2027.

    Brother Smith regaled the active chapter about his UCLA football days, working in wealth management and real estate brokerage at Compass, and his long-term goal of founding a sports and entertainment agency and financial advisory firm.
