Well my dad is finally with my mom, the love of his life. He is now free from Alzheimer’s and having a martini with my mom, his sister and parents.
We are so sad to lose him but so happy they are together again after 63 years of marriage. Love you Mom and Dad. You were the greatest parents any 3 girls could ask for and the greatest gramma and pop pop there could be.
Relax in peace! And watch over all of us ❤️

Thank you to our generous brother Princeton Kim, who doubled his donation to the Joseph Marsalek Upsilon Chapter Education Foundation.
He joins William Meyer, Matthew Sumrow and Past Sage David Finkel in the “Shadowood Society.”
Brother King, a prominent federal bankruptcy judge, passed to the Adytum on High in Oct. 2019 in Honolulu.
He was appointed to the federal bench in 1975, and served as a Bankruptcy Judge in the Northern District of California from until 1992.
He was Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the last seven years of that time until his appointment as Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Hawaii in 1992.
He was Chief Judge in Hawaii until 2002, when he began working on recall status in Hawaii and the districts of Delaware and Nevada. He fully retired in 2016 after 41 years on the federal court bench.

Dr. Shoji is a renowned Emergency Room surgeon in Los Angeles, and has mentored Upsilon students.
Mark Helmick is a famed equestrian in Colorado who shows Arabian horses.
Steven Schechter is a brilliant CPA who has bailed Upsilon out of past tax troubles.
Who will be the next member????
Brother Kerr, Upsilon’s oldest brother #298, passed to the Adytum on High on Mar. 28, 2019. He was Upsilon’s last brother in the #200s.
Kerr was a U.S. Navy veteran at the end of WWII and work as a utility engineer for decades in San Diego. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and children.

Our beloved chef of 20 years died in July, after a full life of familia y amigos. Thank you to Past Sage Stu Johnson Esq., Abel “El Vez” Somilleda and Jason Kelly, Esq. for joining the family in its Celebration of His Vida! Ruben attended Founders Day in February 2020 with his daughter Julia, but none of us realized it would be his last visit to the house. Thank you for always welcoming our good friend back home.
