    Mark Ayling

Mark Ayling visited the chapter for the first time in five years, after traveling the world as a Vaga-Brother. He’s 27, doesn’t have a car, lives at home, but is a total success in the game of life. He has lived in Spain, worked on yachts in the Mediterranean, and ridden a cheap Russian motorcycle all over Vietnam. He has less hair, but you can still recognize his old photo in the 2007 composite.

Kasper Teichman, Jared White, Justin Brandt and Rommel Lavarias also stopped by. Ruben began cooking in 1991 when Mike Liskey and Rob Ward found him at Breadsticks in Westwood, and has served his huevos rancheros and carne aside burrito bar to generations of Upsilon brothers. He will be missed!

The actives raised $1,200 for Ewings Sarcoma cancer as part of their 1st annual “Sorority Super Bowl.” Tim Ennan and Graham Woolf organized the flag flootball tournament, which included nine UCLA sororities, and was a re-sounding success. The chapter chose to raise funds for the cancer to help recent alumni Garni Arakalian, who is being treated for the disease (and recently had a good check-up!). Alumni are encouraged to donate. Issue checks to “Ewings Research Foundation” and mail to Jay Ross at 1721 S. Granville Ave., LA 90025, or to Sage Mike Murrietta at the house, 612 Landfair Ave., LA 90024.
