    Brother Francis, a global businessman who worked throughout the United States and in Indonesia and Australia, passed to the Adytum on High on Aug. 9, 2016. He retired from the petroleum industry and enjoyed his family and golfing.

    Adytum on High: Nicholas Zorotovich

    Brother Zorotovich passed to the Adytum on High in Aug. 2016 in Oregon. He and his wife worked as teachers and counselors in Los Angeles for decades, fulfilling the Creed to promote scholarship. He regularly attended UCLA football games at Oregon and Oregon St. and defended Bruin honor.

    Adytum on High: Sgt. Fred Leeming

    Brother Leeming passed to the Adytum on High in Jul. 2016 at age 91. He was one of Upsilon’s last WWII veterans and worked for years in the steel industry in southern California.

  • Adytum on High: Clement “Jake” Jacomini

    Adytum on High: Clement “Jake” Jacomini

    Brother Jacomini passed to the Adytum on High in Jan. 2016. He was Upsilon’s oldest living brother at age 93 and last brother from the 1930s. He served as a paratrooper in the Pacific Theatre during WWII.

    Brother Capps, who was on patrol for the Redlands Police Dept., regaled the chapter with the drama and tragedy of facing down the terrorists from the 2015 San Bernardino shooting. David Finkel, Art Martinez, Jeff Bara and Chapter Advisor Josh Trifunovic joined him.

    Sgt. Andy Capps of the Redlands Police Dept. met President Obama, after he and his colleagues stopped and killed the terrorist attackers in San Bernardino last December. His fast action and diligent work on the spot helped to spare more lives.

    Brothers from the mid- and late-1960s gathered at the home of Rich Frank, who organized the reunion with George Farina. Golden Crosses were awarded to 20 brothers, including Louis Frassinelli and Steve Jurist, who re-joined for the first time in 50 years!
